The storm "Herwart" is over. Nevertheless, at present we have to struggle with the effects and have to inform you that since 31/10/2017 a further problem occurred on the railway line between Stubben (near Bremen) and Bremerhaven. Due to constant short-circuits in the overhead lines, it is not possible at the moment to reach the seaport Bremerhaven. DB-Netz endeavours to repair the damage as soon as possible. Until then it is only possible to realize a substitute transportation with diesel powered locomotives.
We will try our best to keep the impacts as low as possible for you and we will inform you in case of delays individually which orders are affected.
The disturbance is expected to continue until 08/11/2017, 22.00 hours.
Please, be advised that during this period considerable delays or train failures might be possible.
Due to the tailback of trains that already left the inland terminals and the considerable routing efforts, further interruptions cannot be ruled out.
Furthermore, please, note that any liability on our part for all costs resulting from these circumstances is excluded.
